I received my copy of EXOTIQUE 5 a week or so ago, so I thought I’d share it with you. As you may or may not know, I was lucky enough to get two of my pieces in. It was the first time I’ve submitted to this book so I’m fucking pleased with the results, to say the least! :D
congrats! cause your work is amazing
My name is Hilda, I am a broke 19 yr old college student and I have a spending problem
Laying in bed thinking about how my life is always a struggle against the odds. Don’t get me wrong I’m not complaining cause I know I am fortune for what I have and where I am but I just wonder when do I reach the point where the constant fight stops and the living begins. A lot of people have told me that the fight means you’re alive but I think that’s wrong! I think the moments when you can stand back and apperciate what you fought for are the moments we live for, the moments that make it worthwhile. When can I get at least one of those moments? I think I need a moment like that so I can appreciate the fight and maybe be able to gain more drive.
Don’t get shot.
